It is the goal of IUPUI to provide a safe and productive
work environment for all who perform work on its premises. The Environmental
Health and Safety (EHS) Department has developed this training to
supplement the safety program each employer is required by OSHA
to develop. This training contains a summary of environmental health
and safety guidelines that are believed most applicable to construction
projects at IUPUI.
How
does it work?
The training
consists of the following sections:
- Introduction
- Section 1 – Introduction, Rights &
Responsibilities
- Section 2 – General On-Site Rules
- Section 3 – Environmental Health and Safety
Requirements
- Section 4 – Permits
- Section 5– Environmental Rights & Responsibilities,
Environmentally-Hazardous Materials
- Section 6– Other OSHA Regulations
- Section 7– Other Related Topics
The training module is narrated, so ensure that
your speakers are adjusted to an appropriate listening level. The
user will read the information on each page and move from one page
to another. At the end of each section, there is a short quiz to
verify that you have completed the training and understand its contents.
Upon completion of all sections and the quiz, your compliance with
training requirements will be updated in our database.
