WORK – RELATED INJURIES AND/OR ILLNESSES
If you sustain
an injury while at work, notify your supervisor
immediately. An Indiana University incident report
must be filled out and must include your supervisor's
signature prior to being seen at IUPUI Health Services
when possible.
General Medical Attention:
Obtain medical attention from IUPUI Health Services
during normal working hours;
M, T, W, F 7:30 a.m.— 5:00
p.m.
Thursday 9:00 a.m.— 5:00 p.m.

After hours:
If an injury occurs after hours or on weekends do
one of the following, depending on the severity
of the injury. For injuries that can wait, come
to the IUPUI Health Services clinic on the morning
of the next business day or for injuries that can
not wait to be seen go to the University Hospital
Emergency Room. Depending on the availability of
ambulance services at the time of the injury, it
may be necessary to go to Wishard Memorial Hospital.
Emergency Medical Attention:
If you need immediate medical assistance or are
unable to escort yourself to Health Services call
911 for ambulance assistance.
Contaminated Injuries:
IUPUI Health Services offers a 24-hour phone message
and pager, available to all IUPUI faculty, staff,
and students. The recording and pager are available
for information pertinent to contaminated injuries.
If you have a contaminated injury, please call 312-OUCH
(312-6824) and listen to the recording. If you need
further assistance, please page the IU Occupational
Health Services OUCH pager at 212-OUCH (212-6824).
