Workstation Design

1. S-star base w/casters

2. Swivel seat Pan

3. Seat Pan adjustable through range of 16" to
    20.5" above floor.

4. Seat Pan adjusted so feet are flat on floor
    (shorter individual - footrest)

5. Rounded front edge on seat pan to reduce
    pressure on lower thighs

6 . Backrest w/lumbar support

7. Top of backrest 13" above seat pan or
    adjustable

8. Keyboard heigh adjustment range 26" to 31"
    above floor

9. Keyboard heigh adjusted to allow elbow
    angle of 90° and adequate leg/thigh
    clearance

10. VDT screen 14" to 20" from eyes-top of
     screen forehead level or slightly below,
     positioned so that viewer looks down at angle
     of 5° to 20°

11. Copyholder same height/focal length as
     screen

12. Low, indirect lighting preferred, parabolic
     louvers/blinds used to soften direct lighting;
     or filters over flourescent tubes; to minimize
     glare/reflections position screen perpendicular
     to windows and/or use antiglare filters

13. Wrist support/adjustable armrests (optional)
