EHS Training Program

Training Program » Hearing Conservation Safety Training

This training is provided through OnCourse.

Users who have never joined the Environmental Health and Safety Training site must do so first to begin a training session. After you have completed steps 3 through 7 for the first time you will not need to complete these on return visits to the site.

  1. Go to https://oncourse.iu.edu/portal
  2. Log in
  3. Fill in IU User Name and Passphrase
  4. Click on My Workspace Tab
  5. Click on Membership (left side of screen)
  6. Click on Joinable Sites
  7. In Search area type - Environmental Health and Safety, and press enter
  8. Click ‘Join’ next to Environmental Health and Safety
  9. Click on Resources (left side of screen)
  10. Click on Environmental Health and Safety Training Folder
  11. Click on "Hearing Conservation Training" folder
  12. Click on the training
  13. Complete the PowerPoint presentation
  14. Select Original Test and Survey (left side of screen)
  15. Click on Take Test or Survey
  16. Click on the "Hearing Conservation Quiz" link, and complete the quiz

You must answer at least 80% of the questions correctly to receive credit for the training. If you failed the training, please review the training session and retake the quiz.
