Biological Shipment Training is provided to any campus employee having the need to ship infectious or other biological materials by common carrier such as FedEx or UPS. Training is required prior to making any shipment or signing any documentation related to the shipment of regulated biological materials. These training sessions are held during from 10:00 – 11:30 am the first Tuesday of each month and 1:30 – 3:00 on a quarterly basis on the second Thursday of the month.
All sessions will be held in the Union Building, room 542 (located in the north wing of the building). Please see the schedule below for more details.
Registration is required. Contact Environmental Health and Safety at 274-2005 or e-mail at jaejones@iupui.edu. Seating is limited. (Individual, on-site training sessions can be scheduled for your work location for groups of ten (10) or more by calling 4-4351 or e-mailing kmouser@iupui.edu). |
